Hey there friends, it has been a while! I mean we have been super busy at the store lately. If you haven’t heard we have recently expanded our workshop space, held a successful open house and also launched a website building course (which you can learn more about here) And if that hasn't kept us busy enough, we also have big plans for adding more workshops, launching new products and planning for our 3rd anniversary event, so you can say busy is a bit of an understatement. In today’s blog I wanted to talk about something deeply personal for me and probably for Gabe and Marco too. Something that has affected me for quite sometime and as a result has affected everything around me.
Hello friends and welcome back to the blog. I know, it’s been a while, but we have been incredibly busy here at the store. Have no fear, we’re starting to get back into the swing of things! Hi there friends, recently I have been reading “Girl Stop Apologizing” by Rachel Hollis which came out last month and guys honestly I have had the book less than a week and I am loving it!! If you haven't gotten yourself a copy, do yourself a favor and order a copy now! You can do that here. Ok friends, this post isn’t to sell you on this book. I have just been doing some thinking because of it and wanted to share my thoughts with you.
Ok friends, I’m going to be blunt here, if you have a business, especially a visual one, then you NEED to be on Pinterest. Think of Pinterest like Google with Pictures, it is essentially less of a Social Media and more of a search engine. Which is why if you want to drive traffic to your website you need to be on Pinterest. I used to think the largest source of traffic to my website was from Facebook, but I was wrong. It was actually from Pinterest, which was something I realized I needed to nurture pretty quickly, don't misunderstand here, this is not saying to neglect your other social media accounts but you have to work in Pinterest strategically as well.
Ok friends, this Floral Nightstand has been literally blowing up our Social Media channels lately, so we wanted to get a little more personal and tell the story behind this little cutie. Before we get started, I just need to say something here...doesn’t this piece look like something out of a fairytale? I mean the bright and bold colors, the flowers, the iridescent knobs….it’s safe to say I. AM. OBSESSED. I mean really this piece has my name all over it….so if you’re ready to learn all about the magic of how this enchanting little nightstand came to be, then keep on reading….
