Ok friends, this Floral Nightstand has been literally blowing up our Social Media channels lately, so we wanted to get a little more personal and tell the story behind this little cutie. Before we get started, I just need to say something here...doesn’t this piece look like something out of a fairytale? I mean the bright and bold colors, the flowers, the iridescent knobs….it’s safe to say I. AM. OBSESSED. I mean really this piece has my name all over it….so if you’re ready to learn all about the magic of how this enchanting little nightstand came to be, then keep on reading….
Hi friends! I am so excited to be writing this blog for you today! We’ll get to the main part in a minute, just be patient with me….First off I have to say one of the best parts of our job is the ability to be creative. I mean who wouldn’t love being able to make something new and unique everyday, but let me tell you my friends, creativity is a funny thing sometimes. You have some sort of inspiration for whatever you are working on and a idea of what something should look like in your head, but it doesn’t always turn out to be what you expected. Sometimes, it turns out even better than you could have imagined. (I have to be honest, it happens to me all the time with my wreaths. And ok, they don’t always turn out perfect, but there is no such things as a mistake right?) Anyway, what we had envisioned for this piece was a little different than the end result, but we are really excited with the end result and it really exceeded our expectations (and if you ask me, it really speaks to the scope of Gabe’s talent as an artist but I may be a little biased. I mean both Gabe and Marco are extremely talented)
We get asked all the time why we love Fusion Mineral Paint so much and today we thought we’d answer the questions we receive the most! So sit back grab your coffee and get ready to learn what makes Fusion Mineral Paint so awesome!
Anyone close to me knows one very fundamental thing, I LOVE Target. I mean I am there multiple times a week and I can often be found wandering isles looks for nothing imparticular, I mean really, do we just go to Target when we need something? Not likely, more often than not we go to Target and let Target tell us what we need. (I’m not the only one right?) I’m not sure where my love for Target started, but can you blame me? You can hit up one store for everything you need and most things you don’t. I don’t think I’ve ever left Target without buying something. I mean all Target needs is to sell wine and it would be virtually perfect (BTW I heard a rumor they do sell wine in Targets on the West Coast, so come on East Coast lets get on that)
Anyway, we went into the promised land the other day and saw all this gorgeous decor and was inspired to do a blog post for you.
Fall is one of my favorite seasons (next to summer of course) and it’s right around the corner! I could not be more excited! Fall in New England is just the best! The air is crisp. (I mean sweater weather anyone?) The leaves change to beautiful shades of red, orange and yellow and who doesn't love a stroll through a county fair or an apple orchard? One of my favorite parts of Fall is the decorating! Everything becomes so much more cozy and welcoming in the Fall. It's a time where we once again start welcoming friends and family into our homes. What better way to greet your guests than with this easy DIY scarecrow wreath?
