Hey everyone! A few weeks back we posted a picture on Facebook that highlighted some crystals that helped with sleep. We have gotten such a great response from that post that we decided to add a series on our blog highlighting the different crystals that can be used in different areas in your life. Today we are going to go more in depth on Crystals for Sleep. So for all of you insomniacs out there, get ready to finally get some sleep! Now many of these stones have multiple healing purposes and there are many more other stones that are useful for sleep. Remember this is only a starting point and this list in no way encompasses all the healing properties of each of the stones nor does it list each and every stone that can aid in sleep. Ok now that we have gotten the technical stuff out of the way, let's begin so you can get some sleep! 1. AmethystThe first stone on my list is one of the best stones for sleep and one our favorite stones (can’t you tell?) is Amethyst. This stone is great to help combat stress. This beautiful purple stone soothes and restores your energy. It is a protective stone that repels negativity and brings quiet sleep and calmness. In other words, it will aid in the prevention of nightmares. To help combat insomnia or nightmares, amethyst is best placed under the pillow (so get one that is polished or doesn't have sharp edges as amethyst clusters and points are pretty but can be a bit uncomfortable under a pillow. Just saying) 2. MoonstoneMoonstone is a stone of new beginnings. It is connected to the moon and to intuition. Moonstone increases lucid dreaming especially during the full moon by making the conscious the subconscious. When used as an elixir (We will explain this in a future blog post...so stay tuned) Moonstone can be used as an aid for insomnia and preventing sleepwalking. 3. Pink CalciteTired of being woken up in the middle of the night with nightmares? Pay close attention to this next stone. Calcite of any kind cleanses negative energy and calms the mind. It also alleviates emotional stress and replaces it with feelings of serenity. Pink Calcite is a stone of forgiveness. It helps you to release grief and fear as well as helping you replace it with unconditional love. This is also a stone that helps prevent nightmares. 4. TourmalineWhile there are many variations of Tourmaline, Blue Tourmaline offers clarity of self expression and carries peace. This is another stone that is helpful in combating insomnia and the night sweats. In addition to blue tourmaline, green tourmaline aids in sleep by calming the mind and relieves exhaustion. Black tourmaline will also help protect you as you sleep as well as convert negativity into positivity. Any one of these colors would be great to grid around your bedroom or place near your bed. 5. Lapis LazuliLapis Lazuli is a beautiful blue stone and it happens to be one of my favorites. (I mean who doesn’t love a Cobalt Blue Color?) This is a beautiful stone that stimulates enlightenment and releases stress which helps bring peace. This is another great stone that helps eliminate insomnia. 6.Red JasperJasper, especially Red Jasper, has a grounding energy to it. Red Jasper helps to clean and stabilize the aurora. It strengthens and detoxifies the body. Having trouble remembering your dreams? Simply place a Red Jasper underneath your pillow to help with dream recall. 7. FluoriteFluorite is a great stone to keep in your bedroom, especially if you have a computer, television or cell phone nearby. (Let’s face it, who doesn’t these days?) Anyway, Fluorite is a great stone for blocking electromagnetic stress* (which is caused by you guessed it, electronics) . It also cleanses, purifies, and recognizes anything that is not in perfect working order within the body. 8.JadeJade represents wisdom and serenity. It is also a protective stone that keeps the wearer from harm. It is known as a dream stone, when placed on the forehead it will bring insightful dreams and will encourage you to be yourself. 9. HowliteHowlite is an extremely calming stone which makes it helpful for sleep disorders. When placed under the pillow, Howlite is able to help with insomnia, particularly when the insomnia is caused by a frantic mind. This stone helps the mind prepare to receive wisdom. Howlite helps to still the mind and can also aid in dream recall while helping you to interpret the insights that your dreams bring. 10. CharoiteCharoite is another beautiful purple stone that encourages transformation. It helps release deep fears and is able to reduce stress and worry. This stone aids in re-energizing the body at times of exhaustion. Charoite grants deep sleep with powerful dreams and helps to overcome insomnia. And for all you parents out there, Charoite helps children have a calm sleep.

Do you have more furniture in your store than what you show on your website? I'm looking for a unique piece for my tv maybe 46' in length, possibly seafoam in color.
